HandoverMed is a healthcare IT company building calm, safety-engineered software for the teams who deliver care every day. We're at day one, and we're building it in the open with the clinicians and governance leads who live the problem.
Why we exist
Care is continuous. The systems around it rarely are.
Healthcare is delivered by people working across shifts, teams, sites and systems. Between each of those boundaries sits effort that nobody planned for — chasing information, repeating it, re-checking it, and carrying the mental load of what might have been missed.
That load lands on the same people we ask to make careful decisions under pressure. It costs time, attention and, at the sharpest end, safety. It is not a failure of the people doing the work; it is a gap in the software around them.
HandoverMed exists to close that gap — to make the systems around care as continuous as the care itself.
